It includes some 30 maps taken from either the solo mission campaign or Worms World Party. The new maps can be accessed by opening the editor and simply selecting it from the list. It can’t be updated to the 3.7 patch, unfortunately. The reason for this is that the New Edition is a fan-made version of the original. Sure you can play in two-player hotseat mode or through LAN, but the game won’t work on neither GameRanger nor WormNet. That last part is the real kick in the teeth. It includes more weapons, maps, flags, fanfares and graphics, but has no multiplayer support. Failing to do this will cause the game to crash when loading a game with corrupted teams due to missing/replaced flags/graves/speechbanks.Worms Armageddon New Edition is an easier to install, cranked up version of the original game. You can delete some flags to make room for new ones, but doing so will require you to reset all teams by deleting the WG.WGT file. Any more than these, and they won't show up on the list.
WA has a limit of maximum graves and flags it can load. Why only that many graves/flags? Why not more?Ī. It will not work in later versions until it is updated. Run Worms Armageddon and make sure to go to the options -> advanced option and check the "Load Wormkit Modules".Install Rubberworm with the "RubberWorm-00117-L-installer.rar".Failing to delete the file may cause crashes while launching games. This is to ensure that the existing team file will not be corrupted by the addition of the new content. WA will autogenerate a new file on the next boot. Make sure to delete the "WG.WGT" file in the WA/User/Teams folder to reset all the teams.Unzip and copy all the contents inside the "Worms Armageddon Extras Megapack" into the "User" directory inside your Worms Armageddon install folder.
